Tiffi is a singer/songwriter who got her start on SoundCloud when she was just 13 years old with the song 'Peppermint Smiles' which now has over 13 million streams on Spotify alone.

Now at 20, Tiffi has grown up! And so has her sound, visuals, and artistry. Her latest release - 'california' - is a little more grungier than her usual bedroom pop style, but still captures the same essence that we've come to know and love.

This episode marks Tiffi's first ever podcast interview. As an exclusive, we talk all about starting music so young, gaining success so quickly, leading an almost Hannah Montana lifestyle and how the internet has revolutionised the music industry.

The guest this episode is the lovely Bendere Oboya. Bendere is traditionally a 400m athlete, but has her sights set on the 800m as well. She started her athletics career relatively late for most - 16 - however, in a short space of time, she has become a phenomen - going from a 60 seconds plus 400m athlete to Commonwealth Youth Champion in 2017, 2018 Commonwealth Games representative on the Gold Coast and then the highest placed teenager at the 2019 World Championships. Competing at the Olympics last year was a massive feat for Bendere as she continues her journey. This episode, we talk all about starting her athletics career, her road to the Olympics, being a black woman in Australia, facing comparison with Cathy Freeman and how she’s gained enough confidence to call herself her own role model.
