    86. Our Last Episode: How to Trust Yourself to Make Hard Decisions

It is with great sadness we bring you our last episode of Becoming Intuitive with Meg & Maggi.

Living intuitively is a beautiful way to live. It brings so much fulfillment, excitement, and joy. Listening to our intuition and trusting our gut can save us a lot of headaches down the road.

Unfortunately and fortunately, once we learn to listen to our intuition, it is tough to ignore it.

In this week’s episode, Maggi takes you through how she came to the difficult decision to step away from this podcast. This decision came with a lot of careful consideration from both intuition from the gut and reasoning and logic from the mind.

It’s never easy to step away from a project or person or change course when things are going well, but it’s a lot more challenging and harmful to wait until things are not going well anymore. We hope this episode and our entire mission of Becoming Intuitive shows you that you too can learn to trust yourself, trust your gut, and make hard decisions that sting right now, but are ulitmately what’s best in the long run.

We will miss you tremendously. All of our episodes will stay up so please go back and listen to them as you’d like.

    85. Fall Self-Care Practices We (Still) Love

    85. Fall Self-Care Practices We (Still) Love

It's common that when the seasons change, our priorities also change. Today we’re talking all about how we take care of ourselves in the fall.

Each season has its beauty. The fall season typically brings structure, slowing down, and a bit more rest than the summertime. Some things we do in the fall as part of our self-care routines include cooking at home, eating warm foods, winding down a little bit earlier in the evenings, and sticking to our schedules.

We hope you enjoy today’s light and fun episode where we discuss what we love about this season and how we change our habits to best fit the time of the year.

If you found this episode valuable, please share it with a friend. Your support helps our show grow and we are so grateful for you! Listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or anywhere else podcasts are found 😌

    Love,
    Meg & Maggi

    84. How to Prevent Burnout: Tangible Tools to Lower Stress, Cultivate Awareness, and Make the Small Moments Feel Really Big

    84. How to Prevent Burnout: Tangible Tools to Lower Stress, Cultivate Awareness, and Make the Small Moments Feel Really Big

Have you ever felt stress as a physical response in your body? Maybe you get a headache when life gets crazy or if you’re like me (Maggi), your face breaks out with acne.

The physical manifestations of stress look different for everyone, but no matter how it looks for you, it’s no secret that our minds and bodies are connected.

The path from “life is great” to burnout isn’t an all-or-nothing, straight shot. It’s more of a sliding scale with stress needing to build up over time before we reach a place of complete burnout.

Thankfully, there are many things we can do to manage our daily stressors and also build awareness around how we’re doing, how life is affecting us at the moment, and what actions we need to take to course-correct to a more ideal state of being.

This week’s episode will leave you feeling seen and heard when it comes to your stress, and will also help you create tools to keep you away from burnout.

If you’re already in a place of burnout, we see you and hold so much space for you. With that being said, our podcast is not enough support and we highly encourage you to reach out for more help.

Some of our favorite resources on this topic include the work of Cory Muscara - mindfulness meditation, and Brené Brown - shame and guilt. Definitely go check them out if you’re interested in learning more!

We’re so excited for you to listen to this week’s episode. If you find it valuable, please share it with a friend or on social media. Everyone can use support when it comes to relieving stress and avoiding burnout, so your share supports not only us but also your friends. We cannot thank you enough!

    Love,
    Meg & Maggi

    83. Showing Up on the Hard Days: How to Get Through to the Other Side of a Funk

    83. Showing Up on the Hard Days: How to Get Through to the Other Side of a Funk

Have you ever experienced a season where it feels like everything is going wrong and life is extremely difficult? Maybe you’re in one of those seasons right now.

We’ve had many of them, and this week is no exception. We were supposed to record this week’s episode last Tuesday, and it didn’t happen. We both showed up to the call prepared to record but had nothing in the tank. We were both drained and exhausted, and truthfully needed nothing more than a friend.

So we didn’t record. We decided to take our scheduled time to just be there for one another and give ourselves the space we needed to let out some of the hard things we’d been going through. We trusted that this week’s episode would come out better if we waited to record, and we think that was the right decision.

Today’s episode is the story of how that happened and how giving ourselves the grace we needed on Tuesday turned everything around. If you need a little evidence that it’s all going to be okay, this episode is a must-listen.

Press play, and let’s dive in.

We’re so excited for you to hear this week’s episode, and we truly hope you enjoy it. Be sure to leave a review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify and let us know your favorite part of the episode.

    Love,

    82. Here’s Your Permission Slip

When was the last time you had fun?

We are so excited to play when we’re children, and then at some point that goes out the window because we need to be responsible adults. Somewhere along the way, we forgot to have moments where we don’t take life so seriously.

If you’re anything like us, 99% of your life revolves around productivity, deadlines, and “adulting.”

Fun and play are such important parts of life and we are working on adding in more time dedicated to having a good time.

Today we’re having an open and honest conversation about the struggle of allowing ourselves to let go, tips we’ve begun to incorporate to add more fun and play into our lives, and some hilarious stories bout what we found fun as kids.

Today’s episode truly is your permission slip to do something fun, whether it’s for five minutes or a whole day.

This life is meant to be enjoyed. Let’s all do that a little bit more.

We’re so excited for you to hear this week’s episode, and we truly hope you enjoy it. Be sure to leave a review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify and let us know your favorite part of the episode.
