Artist Julie Gautier on Finding the Soul of Dance
Water has always played an important role in Julie Gautier’s life. Growing up in Reunion Island, she cultivated a love of dance from her mother and found a way to combine her two passions. We follow Julie as she dives deep into the underwater world in Cenote El Oxman in Playa del Carmen in Mexico, culminating her trip in a transformative performance inspired by her travels.

Just Dance: Blood Echoes
Gabe Stone Shayer spent more than half of his high school years in Russia under the tutelage of what many consider to be the best ballet school in the world—the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. Shayer, who is a Philadelphia native, was the first black dancer to graduate from the Academy; and is now making his mark on the ballet world as he dances for the esteemed American Ballet Theatre in NYC.
