JP was an admitted band nerd, but boy did that pay off. Most of JP's socializing came through music and we talk about our times in Band and Chorus, like the time we had to perform a silent song for over 4 minutes. JP had a career path out of college, but it was taken away on a technicality. He ended up loving his new career so much, he wouldn't even want to go back now!
There is some serious Broadway Musical talk as we discuss our favorites, Wissahickon's musicals, and my increased disappointment in the selections.

Kelley has literally been all around the world, and for several years, she was at Wissahickon with us. We had some similarities growing up, our love for black culture, struggles to find our black connections socially, and dealing with strict parents, Kelley also shares a lot of very personal stories about losing friendships, struggles in young marriage, and guiding her children through racism.

Jess was a TWO Sport Athlete in high school. Learn about the hard work that went into becoming a Freshman Starter in basketball and earning a Kent State Scholarship in Track. We get into the make-up of Penllyn, the legacy of her own family, and the impact Jess’ older brother had on MY life. Plus, Jess talks about her long-time friendship with The First Girl I Ever Loved. Jess is also a Deputy Sheriff in Alameda County in the Bay Area, and we discuss her path through the Police Department as a black woman, and her role as a Training Officer at the Academy.
