This week's astrology of April 29th – May 5th brings relational resources online where things have felt (possibly) in flux and in a major transition. Venus will move into Taurus on Monday 4/29 and be in this fixed earth sign until 5/24. This symbolizes potential for healing, soothing, and settling relational dynamics. And yes, Venus will also square Pluto this week to reveal patterns or information that has been elusive or forgotten for quite some time. This week we are in the Third Quarter Moon phase of the lunar cycle which supports wrapping up, processing, and winding down or finishing projects over the next two weeks. Also this week, Mars will move into Aries to assist in taking action more easefully, feeling more bold, and maybe motivated where things have felt uncertain up to now. This week's astrology of April 22nd - 28th brings continued opportunities for integrating all the change-making transits we've experienced over the last month. We have a Full Moon in Scorpio on Tuesday 4/23 at 4:49pm Pacific Time - this invokes depth and intensity of feeling, plus a boost of perception for what's actually going on. Also, Mercury will station direct in Aries on Thursday 4/25 to bring up questions about how we assign meaning to the beginnings and endings that have happened over eclipse season in March & April. Mars (the ruler of the Full Moon in Scorpio) will conjunct Neptune to remind us that we can find answers through imagination, daydreams, intuition, and simply enjoying the moment to see where it leads us. This transit has been building in its intensity for the past several months and will culminate this week. Also this week, we're closing out this chapter of eclipse season from March 19 - April 19. What has changed for you since March 19th, what beginnings and endings are you experiencing? What has felt obscured? An added boost is the Sun making a square to Pluto, which symbolizes unconscious dynamics (Pluto) being revealed (Sun) so that we can see more clearly. This eclipse marks a point in the month-long eclipse cycle where we may be reimagining our identity and our path forward in the process of becoming. This eclipse period also includes Mercury being retrograde and conjunct the Sun in Aries - a symbol of brief but powerful clarity around these issues of what is beginning vs. ending this month. This transit of about 3 weeks involves internal contemplation of our relationship to our identity, independence, and self-esteem. This Mercury retrograde in Aries involves Chrion (healing and self-sacrifice), the North Node (growth and new or unfamiliar experiences), and Venus (relationships, beauty, and also self-esteem). Also this week, Venus will conjunct Neptune in Pisces and then move into Aries on Thursday, April 4th. Venus' journey through the portal of Neptunian experience and then into the territory of Aries symbolizes our journey of relational experience from embodied experience and witnessing (Pisces) to embodied action and passion (Aries). Overall, this week is about reassessing how we feel about our sense of self and contemplating how these themes have been happening since the beginning of eclipse season on March 19th.
