What's Black Though ‪?‬ Whats Black Though ?

This episode of "What's black though" is centred around two songs. The first is called, "Black is Beautiful" by Chronixx, a Jamaican Regaee artist. The second is called Black Rose by London based artist Ghetts and Kojey Radical.

The rise of reclaiming the Black identify had led to a resurgence of the be exploring:
- Why is there a need to reclaim Blackness as Beautiful ?
- Why has "Blackness" been perceived as not Beautiful for so long ?
- Does the slogan " Black is beautiful" solve any of the the issues it intends to ?

On this episode of " What's Black Though ? " the trio discuss one of the biggest representations of "Black" film this year.

 Another Black History Month means it is time for another Story/Series on slavery. This year, the series of choice is called Enslaved, featuring Afua Hirsch and Samuel L  Jackson.
This episode will be questioning the narrative of "Black" and  Slavery;
 Do we need to hear another story about slavery ? Is slavery a core portrayal of Blackness? How can we move past slavery ?
Part 2 will focus more on the themes in the doc series
