And the soundtrack to the revolution is one of the best selling songs of all time, the metal ballad “Wind of Change,” by the Scorpions. Decades later, journalist Patrick Radden Keefe heard a rumor: the song wasn’t written by the Scorpions. It was written by the CIA. This is his journey to find the truth. Wind of Change is an Original Series from Pineapple Street Studios, Crooked Media and Spotify.

Well produced and entertaining.

So much more than about the song ”Wind Of Change”. Listen and you’ll learn a lot about psy-ops and social engineering. Well done team!

Government Conspiracy?

It’s pretty obvious that the guy spurring this on gets his pride hurt when the story falls apart. It starts as an implausible conspiracy theory that just keeps falling apart. Maybe the greatest thing to take away from this is the lesson in how a story like this can benefit CIA or the Russian propaganda machines depending on how you flip it.
