Turn A Bad Day Into A Good One

Turn A Bad Day Into A Good One

How to Turn A Bad Day Into A Good One: A 10-Step Plan to Turn a Bad Day Into an Amazing Day - Plus Q&A - Have you ever had a bad day and decided to throw in the towel? A bad day can make you feel like giving up and waiting for tomorrow to come. However, a bad day can be saved. You really don’t get that many days over the course of a lifetime, so make the most of each day. With some effort and a little mental toughness, a bad day can be turned into a good day. Ready to turn it all around and have a great day? Learn to make a good day out of a bad day with these strategies:

    1. Relax. It might FEEL LIKE your day is off to a terrible start, but it’s not over just yet. The first step is to take a deep breath and relax. Slow down your heart rate, think a few positive thoughts, and regain your composure. Put yourself in the right frame of mind to salvage the remainder of the day. There's still hope!

    2. Accomplish something. Get one little thing accomplished that you can check off your list. If you’re at home, make your bed or clean the kitchen counters. If you’re at work, send that email you’ve been avoiding. Give yourself a small success and a little momentum.

    3. Call a friend. Or reach out to your support group - join one of mine at QueenBeeing.com/group-support. Call a friend and share your bad day. You want to call someone that will be encouraging. Avoid calling someone that will do more harm than good.

    4. Make a plan for the remainder of the day. If you want to salvage the day, you need a plan. Look at the time you have left in the day and decide what’s most important to accomplish. Make a reasonable plan to get the most important things completed before the day is over. Pick one or two things that are most important and focus on those things. Remember to focus on controlling what you can and not what you can't.

    5. Be grateful. Gratitude can reset your attitude. When you feel grateful, you have a better perspective and can be more productive. You feel less hopeless when you experience gratitude. Do the 10 and 3 exercises!

    6. Get some exercise. A bad day can create a lot of negative emotions. Those emotions create a lot of energy that needs to be burned off. Exercise is a great way to move toward feeling normal again. You can make wiser decisions when you’re less emotionally stimulated.

    7. Pat yourself on the back! Seriously! Be proud of yourself for turning your day around. Allow yourself to feel proud as soon as you make even a tiny bit of progress. This will provide a well-needed boost to your mood, self-esteem, and progress.

    8. Figure out what happened so you can avoid it tomorrow. Determine how you contributed to having a bad day. Some bad days are just random events, but others are not. Consider the origin of your bad day and brainstorm ways of preventing a repeat occurrence. Not all bad days can be prevented, but many can.

    9. Get out your bullet journal, planner or notebook. Make a plan for tomorrow. Choose to make the most of tomorrow. You might have some catching up to do. Or, you might need to plan a night on the town with a few friends. Make up for having a bad day by having a magnificent day.

    10. Go to bed at a decent hour if you can. Get a good night of sleep. You survived! Do your best to recharge your batteries and prepare for tomorrow. Hopefully, tomorrow will be much better. You’ll certainly feel better after a good night of rest.

Gamify Your Life to Stay Motivated & Meet Your Goals!

Gamify Your Life to Stay Motivated & Meet Your Goals!

Gamify Your Life to Stay Motivated & Meet Your Goals! (Gamifying Self Growth) Today we are going to talk about why gamifying your self-growth journey can help you succeed in every area of life!

Have you ever wondered why it is that we enjoy games so much? And have you ever wondered why it is that you dislike your job so much?
The answer may surprise you: it actually comes down to your effort and how much you care.

You care about games and you make the effort because you want to get better at them and because there’s constant variety and plot progression to keep things interesting. This makes you try harder in order to progress and that in turn gives you the feeling of reward that makes the gameplay satisfying.

From a neurochemical perspective, this essentially boils down to the release of dopamine.

Each time you attempt a level or challenge, you first visualize it happening in your mind’s eye. When you then attempt it for real and this then goes to plan just as you visualized it, this will in turn result in you getting a release of the reward hormone dopamine.

This is actually highly addictive and that can be enough to make you want to try again – which is why it’s so hard to put down that game of Angry Birds!

That release of dopamine and serotonin will also help to reinforce the neural connections required to perform the task again. This strengthens your likelihood of doing the same thing again in future with perfect technique and generally improves your technique and ability.

When we don’t care about the outcome though, we don’t have this trial/reward loop and as a result, it can end up feeling like a dull slog.

To change this then, all you need to do is to start taking things more seriously and actually focus on what you’re doing.

    The Most Basic

Let’s say that you have to write something by hand. This is a mundane task and something most of us won’t pay much attention to.

So instead of simply doing it absent-mindedly then, you should instead try to really focus on doing it as perfectly as possible.

Try to let the pen flow perfectly as you write and to write with the most perfect handwriting you can muster.

Visualize it happening as you do.

Simply paying attention to your writing in this way and making it perfect will then be enough to ensure that you are more engaged and that you get the release of dopamine when it goes well.
You’ve turned the mundane into a game. Why? Because the brain loves learning and improving.

    Other examples include:
fitbit app - doing virtual competitions with your friends
    food tracking app
    habit tracking apps
    30-day challenges
10-minute challenge (cleaning your house, working out, going vegan, changing any habit - etc)

How Narcissism Manifests in Each of the 16 MBTI Personality Types

How Narcissism Manifests in Each of the 16 MBTI Personality Types

How Narcissism Manifests in Each of the 16 MBTI Personality Types- 16 Types of Narcissists Represented by MBTI Personality Types - Can an INTJ be a narcissist? What about an INFP or an ENFP, or any of the other personality types defined by the Myers Briggs Personality Inventory? That's what we're going to cover in this video.

First, we have to consider this: Since Narcissists really haven't manifested any original, true identity (and since they tend to lie to even themselves), any Myers-Briggs Personality Test result would (or at the very least) could be false.

Narcissists won't or can't see any true insight into their false self. The truth is that their actual identity is comprised of "borrowed" personality traits, hobbies, choices and frustrations from other people in thier lives. There's not a lot of substance. Narcissists usually aren't capable of self-reflection - and don't forget: they lie - to themselves and everyone else.

With all of that being said, here is what you'd see if narcissism manifested in each of the 16 personality types.

Empath's Guide to Dealing With Criticism and Rude Comments (After a Toxic Relationship)

Empath's Guide to Dealing With Criticism and Rude Comments (After a Toxic Relationship)

**Empath's Guide to Dealing With Criticism and Rude Comments (After a Toxic Relationship)** - Toxic relationships with narcissists make us very sensitive to criticism. But some criticism is positive - it's constructive and helpful. It's hard to learn to be open to constructive criticism for us - but we also have to learn how to sift out the not-so-helpful stuff.

So many times in life we would like to try something new. Like a new sport, different style haircut, changing clothing or losing weight. But we are afraid to try because of the criticism we might receive from others because we are trying to change or trying something different.

Over time we have been conditioned into believing the narcissist's opinions and think they hold more weight than our own feelings. We do not want to be judged.

If you want to break old habits you must not be controlled by outside people. You must have inner control.

This is your life! There is nothing wrong with a little criticism - if it's constructive, that is.
You just have to be able to decipher between the truths. Listen for it.

Ask yourself if there is any truth to what someone is saying. Do they know what they are talking about? If you feel they are after careful consideration then use their feedback to improve.

If your intuition tells you they are full of it then disregard it! Be true to your self and only accept opinions that hold truths!

Don't be afraid to have criticisms of your self.

But make sure they are your own opinions and not someone else’s. If you don not like something about yourself then change it. Always look to improve.

Sometimes our own criticisms are tainted. This goes back to being brainwashed.

Others have fed us information over the years that might have be tainted and have altered our thoughts over the years.

Since we were not trying to decipher between the truth, our thoughts have turned into a messy desk where you can not find the paper you want.

It is time to clean up the mess of criticism and restructure. This is the only way you will be able to change you habits and better your life.

How this personality test could change your life (Personality Test - Myers Briggs)

How this personality test could change your life (Personality Test - Myers Briggs)

How this personality test could change your life (Personality Test - Myers Briggs) - Sometimes after a toxic relationship, we sort of forget who we are. But if we want to be happy and succeed in life, introspection is a powerful catalyst to ensuring your success. Thankfully, today you have access from the comfort of your home to powerful and proven personality test technology that until now was only used in large corporations, psychological circles and education settings.

If you want to know more about yourself, you can spend as little as 15 minutes taking a test that will give you tremendous insight into your own psyche. You’ll learn about both positive and negative factors of your personality that affects all aspects of your life.

Once you learn these parts of your personality, you can work toward actually changing the negatives. You can also find ways to work around the negatives so that you can accentuate the positive aspects of your personality to reach more success than you ever thought possible.

The Myers Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®), heavily influenced by Carl Jung’s work on “Psychological Types” published in 1923, was created by a mother and daughter pair: Isabel Briggs Myers and her mother Katherine Briggs conducted a study of personality types, due to Katherine’s curiosity of personality types influenced by her daughter’s fiancé’s different personality. Publishing the first finished questionnaire in 1943, it’s been updated and changed over the years to more match not only the times but also new insights into personality that has developed along with the advancement of computer technology.

How To Change Your Self Perception (After a Toxic Relationship)

How To Change Your Self Perception (After a Toxic Relationship)

How To Change Your Self Perception (After a Toxic Relationship) Try these 7 tips and techniques on how to change your self-perception after a toxic relationship if you've ever wondered:
    *How to change your self-esteem?
    *How to change your self-identity?
    *How to change your self-image?
*How to truly feel better after a toxic relationship - how to feel like YOURSELF again (or maybe for the first time ever)?

Well..this one's for you! Here are 7 powerful tips and techniques on how to change your self-perception after a toxic relationship.

    1. Your previous beliefs and knowledge can prevent you from gaining new knowledge. If you think you know something already, you won’t be open to new views. Knowledge is great, but when it gets in the way of learning something new, it’s poison.

    2. Ask more questions. Be curious.

    3. Pretend that you’re a beginner.

    4. Determine if your beliefs are truths, or merely just beliefs. Beliefs are personal, often unprovable, and often no more correct than another belief. Truths don’t require constant validation. For example, gravity is a truth.

    5. Where did your belief come from?

    6. Let go of your identity. Our identities are largely built around our beliefs.

    7. What is the cost of your beliefs? Some beliefs come with a heavy price. Look at your beliefs and consider the impact they are having on you.
