Hi, I’m Dax Shepard, and I love talking to people. I am endlessly fascinated by the messiness of being human, and I find people who are vulnerable and honest about their struggles and shortcomings to be incredibly sexy. I invite you to join me as I explore other people’s stories. We will celebrate, above all, the challenges and setbacks that ultimately lead to growth and betterment. What qualifies me for such an endeavor? More than a decade of sobriety, a degree in Anthropology and four years of improv training. I will attempt to discover human “truths” without any laboratory work, clinical trials or data collection. I will be, in the great tradition of 16th-century scientists, an Armchair Expert.

Great podcasts!

This is my first time leaving a review ever. I really enjoy Dax's podcasts! I rarely listen to podcasts because I lose interest halfway, but I really really enjoy listening to all his podcasts and I have been learning alot from it! One that really makes me super interested for his podcasts everytime is about how he is always super enthusiastic and you know that he knows his guests! I can't wait for more!! :D

Absolutely LOVE this show

There's something about Dax Shepard. The way he takes on each guest with such enthusiasm and interest and how he shares bits from his own life and isn't afraid to dive into insecurities and hard topics with passion and humour. Monica is a steady sidekick who balances and grounds with insights and facts.
My favourite episodes so far are; Wendy Mogel (Every parent should listen to this episode), Talib Kweli and of course the first episode with Kristen Bell. Armchair expert is a podcast that is open and honest and has a range that is unique in the massive sea of podcasts out there.
Absolutely at the top of my list!
