Columbia Global Centers | East Asia, active in China and the region since 2009, is one of eight Columbia Global Centers established by Columbia University operating around the world. The Center’s projects aim to engage the University with issues, ideas and counterparts in China and the region through collaborations across a number of fields, including sustainable development, urbanization, urban design and the future of cities, international relations and global governance, educational reform, social media, environment health, and public health.
