    Rainey Street Ripper Strikes Again?

    Rainey Street Ripper Strikes Again?

In 1960, Lady Bird Lake was built by the city of Austin. The river-like reservoir was created as a cooling pond for Austin's then-new city power plant.

The 416-acre lake is now primarily used for recreation, but many in the area are now concerned is it the hunting ground for a killer. There have been  multiple deaths reported since 2022. Two more reported in past days.

Even though police have given no indication there are signs of foul play, social media has lit up with speculation. According to the San Antonio Current, rumors of a serial killer hunting young men and dumping their bodies in Lady Bird Lake ran rampant last April. That's when Police recovered the bodies of Jason John, Clifton Axtell, Jonathon Honey, and Christopher Hays-Clark — all between the ages of 20 and 40 and all recovered from Lady Bird Lake.

Reegan Aparicio says she has no doubts that her longtime boyfriend Chris Hays-Clark was placed in Lady Bird Lake. The dental nurse says despite police assurances that there was no foul play in Hays-Clark's death, she believes he was already dead when he went into the water.

Despite family concerns, Austin Police Chief Joseph Chacon says, "Nothing has come to light that would indicate that there is a serial killer in Austin."

MOM SUNBATHES IN PUERTO RICO LEAVES BABY ALONE IN OHIO TO DIE IN CRIB

MOM SUNBATHES IN PUERTO RICO LEAVES BABY ALONE IN OHIO TO DIE IN CRIB

Kristel Candelario is off on a 10-day whirlwind of adventure and romance.

Ring door video from a neighbor shows Candelario hauling her suitcase to a car as she heads out of town, and she is posting pictures from the beginning of her trip about her 'best life' adventure.

Back at home in Cleveland, Ohio, in the late night, early morning hours, the same Ring Doorbell camera that catches Candelario loading her suitcase into a car before she leaves her home, now is picking up the faint sounds of a crying baby.

When Kristel Candelario leaves on her 10-day vacation, she places her 16-month-old baby, Jailyn, into a pack-n-play pen with a couple of bottles of milk and some crackers, nothing else. Jailyn is left alone, in a playpen, for 10 days straight. She dies from starvation and dehydration; she is hungry and thirsty.

BOY DEAD: SICK MOMENT DAD FORCES SON, 6, TO RUN TREADMILL B/C 'TOO FAT'

BOY DEAD: SICK MOMENT DAD FORCES SON, 6, TO RUN TREADMILL B/C 'TOO FAT'

Christopher Gregor, now on trial, is charged in the death of his 6-year-old son Corey Micciolo.

Gregor took his son to the hospital saying he put his son down for a nap because he was sleepy and nauseous. When Corey woke up he was stumbling, slurring his words, and having trouble breathing. Corey died at the hospital.

Surveillance video inside the gym facility at the complex where Gregor lived shows Corey running on a treadmill while Gregor turns up the speed and incline of the machine until the 6-year-old can’t keep up and falls off. Gregor lifts the boy off the ground by his shirt, holding Corey over the running treadmill.

Corey’s feet slide out from under him several times as he tries to get his footing, and Gregor appears to bite Corey on the back of the head. Corey eventually starts running again and falls from the treadmill five more times before Gregor shuts it off and they leave together.

Corey’s mother, Breanna Micciolo testified that she feared for Corey’s life. Documentation shows she made more than 100 calls and emails to the Department of Child Protection reporting abuse. Pediatrician Dr. Nancy Deacon who treated Corey days before his death, testified to what she observed.

Deacon listed a blue-grey bruise on his left cheek, a large yellow-green bruise on his left shoulder, another large yellow-green bruise on his left inner arm, and a blue bruise present on his elbow. Beyond over 12 bruises that covered Corey Micciolo's body, the doctor noted two areas on the right side of his chest, she called it two areas of hyper-pigmented skin, meaning the wound was healing but pigment had not yet returned.
