Episode 003: New Game‪!‬ Manly Anime for Manly Men: A Moe Podcast

Making games isn't all fun and games, but it mostly is in New Game!, a slice-of-life comedy about a girl who gets a job at her favorite videogame development studio. Join us as we realize in horror that the Playstation 3 was released fifteen years ago, consider the ethics of looking up the skirts of videogame character models, and die of diabetic shock at the sight of Aoba's adorable, oversized bear-shaped sleeping bag. And in the inferior world of non-moe anime, we discuss: Golden Kamuy, the blood-soaked story of an unkillable veteran of the Russo-Japanese war on a quest to find a hidden treasure and kill as many hideously animated CGI bears as possible; and Dorohedoro, a fantasy post-apocalyptic action comedy horror drama mystery about an amnesiac wizard hunter who also has a lizard head for some reason.
