Her name is Andrea Razali (@AndreaRazali) and this is her story. An entrepreneur, actress, model and beauty pageant winner, Andrea is the first Singaporean trans woman to appear on the covers of New York Times Style: Singapore and L’Officiel. But behind the glamorous photoshoots and wonderful accolades is a jaw dropping story waiting to be told. Andrea recalls the first time she heard the word ‘transgender’, reflects on the friends she’s lost through the years and reveals the dark reality of being a trans person in Singapore.
