[16] A Harmony of the Gospels (audiobook, part 16)

[16] A Harmony of the Gospels (audiobook, part 16)

As described from the trailer (“Introducing A Harmony of the Gospels”) of this series, this is the sixteenth part of my audiobook presentation of this great written work of the public domain. And now this is the final part! We have reached the end of Jesus’ earthly story. This sixteen-part-series is a straightforward presentation of “A Harmony of the Gospels” focusing on the written records of the life-story of Jesus Christ without any added commentary or discussions. My sources of reference are from A. T. Robertson’s “Harmony of the Gospels,” published in 1922, and the World English Bible which is also part of the public domain. This episode’s verses are:

    🕊️ 🙏🏽 ❤️‍🩹 😔 💐 Andrew 3.0

It’s close to midnight on a work night, and I just found the last recording I have of my guy, Andrew, and I. He unfortunately, 😔 tragically, and suddenly passed away a few months ago. Sadly, that’s the end of that book: the Memory Book … The Run It Back podcast show with Andrew 2.0 and “the Wes of ‘Y’” … 💭 We shared a lot of reminiscent stories. I talked about throwing a reunion party… 💭 I’ve been on my own personal reunion things. I’ve also been rejoicing with my family and friends about my sister becoming a newlywed. 😇🙂 I don’t know why I can’t push myself to finish the Harmony of the Gospels series. But maybe I needed to post this episode first. ❤️‍🩹 🙏🏽 I’ve also been playing a little bit with recording more personal experiences and sharing more everyday thoughts. 🗣️👂🏽And similarly, I’ve been learning the Don Quixote story 🙃 💭 which I think is a collection of stories from a hopeless-romantic who is the collector of those stories? I’m much more familiar with the story of Jesus Christ than of Don Quixote, but I’m open to new novel ideas. After “Don Quixote,” I’ll be looking at “The Picture of Dorian Grey” and “Wuthering Heights” and … 💭 🤷🏽‍♂️ maybe something autobiographical by Simone Weil first? — because she is “more truly a lover of the people than most who call themselves Socialist, and simultaneously more truly a lover of order and hierarchy than most who call themselves Conservative” — T. S. Eliot

This episode is another interlude from the “Harmony of the Gospels” series I’ve been sharing. It’s another heart-to-heart moment to give some more context, insight, perspective, and things like that… Please take a moment to connect with me @weszily on Pinterest or Twitter or Instagram or TikTok (or YouTube or Twitch or Reddit or my Facebook page) — or is there no one listening still?
