What About Our Enemy? | Matt Darby
June 9, 2024 | A Nation in Turmoil | Habakkuk 1:12 - 2:5
Habakkuk literally means to wrestle and embrace, and that is exactly what Habakkuk did. He wrestled with God’s plan for the nation of Israel, but as we see he learns to embrace who God is and learns to understand that God’s character is trustworthy!

Where is God’s Justice? | Matt Darby
June 2, 2024 | Habakkuk: Nation in Turmoil | Habakkuk 1:1-11
Habakkuk has inner turmoil. He doesn’t understand how a just God can allow injustice to prevail in Judah. He is very open and honest with God. This is a model of how we can approach God.

Where is Justice? | Todd Kaunitz
June 2, 2024 | Habakkuk: Nation in Turmoil | Habakkuk 1:1-11
Habakkuk was a prophet struggling with balancing the God of justice he knows and the injustice he witnessed in the nation. He struggled with holding on to God’s plan, promises, and power because his eyes told him that God wasn’t present. How can a good God allow such evil? The words of this prophet are so real for many of us today.
But God doesn’t just leave him to struggle with this. God answers and shows Habakkuk that He has a plan far beyond what Habakkuk is able to understand.

White Flag of Victory | Todd Kaunitz
May 26, 2024 | This is War | Ephesians 6:18-20
A white flag is a symbol of surrender. At the end of Ephesians 6 we see Paul is calling us for us to wave the white flag, not as a symbol of defeat, but a white flag surrendering the battle to the Lord as a means of victory!
