    Hugh is a member of the leadership team for Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Client Business with global responsibility for Institutional Client Strategy and the division’s Environmental, Social and Governance and Impact strategy. In addition, he is co-chair of the Asset Management Sustainability Council. Hugh was previously co-head of Alternative Capital Markets and co-head of Hedge Fund Strategies.
    John is the head of the Sustainable Finance Group, which is responsible for working across Goldman Sachs to deepen the firm's knowledge and grow it's capabilities in relation to inclusive growth and climate transition. He serves as chair of the Sustainable Finance Group Steering Group. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2015 as a managing director through the acquisition of Imprint Capital, which he co-founded in 2007, to help expand the firm's ESG and impact investing capabilities.

    Amparo Nalvarte, recognized by MIT as part of their Innovators Under 35, for founding Culqi, a mobile payment system for smartphones using QR codes, revolutionizing the industry and boosting the growth of e-commerce in Peru. Nalvarte is also an angel investor of Rextie, the biggest digital foreign exchange service of Latin America. Now, she is developing her second startup, B89, the first cross-border neo-bank in Peru for Hispanic American immigrants, that will break all the paradigms of traditional banking and provide services tailored for their local financial needs, as well as their country-of-origin needs. 
    Victoria Blanco Alegria is the Founder and CEO of Ábaco, a Colombian microcredit fintech. She is also a Computer Engineer with 9 years of experience in Big Four technology and business consulting, both in Europe and Latin America. Victoria has a passion for new technologies and ideas that aim to improve customer life and democratize services.

    Women in FinTech: Meet Hayley Caddes and Veibha Subramaniam

    Hayley worked as a genetic engineer designing iron-oxidizing bacteria and a bioreactor system to produce sustainable biofuels. Before launching the The Knowledge Society New York program, she was the lead data scientist at BerlandTeam (now Decode_M), a market research firm where she founded and built their data science practice and developed analytical tools with natural language processing for companies like Lyft, Airbnb, WeWork, Nike, and Illumina. Hayley has a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University.
    Veibha is currently VP Technology at AnalytixInsight. She leads the technology team at AnalytixInsight and spearheads AI and machine learning initiatives at AnalytixInsight. She has more than 20 years working in the tech industry and has been part of technology initiatives at McDonalds, Canada Life Assurance, Citibank to name a few.
