Episode 48: Abraham Lincoln in Gettysburg - November 18-19, 1863 with Tim Smith
In September 2023, The Adams County Historical Society hosted a special live recording of the show. Eric, Jim, and Jody were joined by Historian and Licensed Battlefield Guide Tim Smith and a lively crowd of Superfans. The topic that evening was Abraham Lincoln's visit to Gettysburg which lasted just 25 hours spanning November 18 - 19, 1863. In this episode, Lincoln's time in Gettysburg is discussed as well as many of the myths that surround one of the most famous events in United States history.
