Opposing Views: Assisted Dying – Mercy or Murder? | Dr. Ellen Wiebe & Dr. Mark Pickering EP 182
In this episode of the Opposing Views series, I spoke with Dr. Ellen Wiebe and Dr. Mark Pickering about the ethics and legalities behind medical assistance in dying (MAID). We talked about the arguments for and against making MAID available, which demographics are asking for it, the potential risks, and which countries allow it.
Dr. Ellen Wiebe is a clinical professor in the Department of Family Practice at the University of British Columbia. After 30 years of full-service family practice, she now restricts her practice to women’s health and assisted death.
Dr. Mark Pickering is a general practitioner of family medicine. His clinical work is mainly in prisons and other secure environments, and he is also head of the Christian Medical Fellowship in the UK.

Mold: The Root Cause Behind Food Sensitivities? | Judy Cho EP 181
Judy Cho, aka “Nutrition With Judy,” is a board-certified holistic nutritionist and a certified nutritional therapy practitioner. She works with people to find and heal the root cause of their illnesses. She is also the author of the book Carnivore Cure, Meat-Based Nutrition, and the Ultimate Elimination Diet for Optimal Health.
In this episode, we chatted about Judy’s background, how and why she got into nutrition, and, more specifically, the carnivore diet. I asked some common carnivore questions and a bunch of my own questions about long-term healing, potential problems with a carnivore diet, and what exactly is “CIRS”.
Right after this episode we found a bad mold problem in our master bedroom. I had a feeling, which is why I had Judy on. We've lived there for 4 months. I also think that's what made me sick in Nashville. I don't know if mold caused my original arthritis as a child but it's definitely causing autoimmune symptoms now. We moved out.
