Where's My Cider? Episode 3: Kaiden/Embark Craft Ciderworks and the Much Love Initiative
Welcome to Episode #3 of the podcast.
This episode features Kaiden from Embark Craft Ciderworks, where we discuss everything going on at Embark and with his project, the Much Love Initiative. Also, editor Val joins the new to talk about the Asheville cider scene, CiderCon 2022, Virtue's Cider Society subscription box and we have a tasting of two fantastic Southern California ciders: Raging Cider & Mead's Northern Spy and Two Broads Ciderworks' Fancy Pants (Arkansas Black SV).
If you haven't yet donated for the Much Love Initiative fundraiser that Three Guys and Cider and ourselves have started, head here to donate. Every little bit helps and it is going to a great cause. The fundraiser has been extended out to at least mid-November.
Cheers!

Where's My Cider? Episode 2: Three Guys and Cider and The Much Love Initiative
This episode, I talk with Three Guys and Cider, who have blown up all over your cider social media since the start of the pandemic. I talk to the guys about their love of cider, their plans for the future of the project (and other exciting projects) and we also talk about something that is near and dear to all four of our hearts: mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
The guys ran a fundraiser on IG Live with the folks from Ace Cider that benefitted Mental Health America. After watching this IG Live, I knew what we should talk about and the Guys were completely down to chat about it. After talking, we decided that the charity that we wanted to help out with was The Much Love Initiative, that was started by Kaiden from Embark Craft Ciderworks. Listen to the episode to learn what the charity is all about or head to their website to learn more.
We all know that times are hard but if you could donate, any little bit would help. Head to the Go Fund Me page to donate. We are running the campaign officially until October 15th, at which point all donations will go directly to The Much Love Initiative.
Thanks for checking out Episode 2 and I hope you all enjoy!

Let the Fruit Do What It Does - An Interview with Botanist and Barrel
In this very first episode of the Where's My Cider? Podcast, I interview Deric McGuffey and Lyndon Smith of Botanist & Barrel, a fantastic team of wine and cidermakers in Cedar Grove, North Carolina. I was at their farm, participating in Cider Camp 2021, an educational experience for people in the Food and Beverage industry, helping professionals from all different areas learn the essentials about cider (oh, and tasting through a ton of ciders!). Please be aware, there are indeed audio issues that I am fully aware of and will know how to fix for the future but this interview was too good to lose. To learn more about Botanist & Barrel or to order their ciders directly, head to botanistandbarrel.com. And if you haven't yet subscribed to the Where's My Cider? Newsletter, head to wheresmycider.wordpress.com and subscribe today. And, if you are a cidermaker that would like to be featured in a future episode, email me at wheresmycider41@gmail.com.
