In 2003, parents were shocked and horrified to learn that their once 'safe city' of Toronto, wasn't so safe anymore. The murder of 10 year old Holly Jones terrified parents and called for many to re-evaluate how Ontario was keeping their children safe.

In 1996, a young single mother left work and went to pick up her young son. But she never made it. Police formed a search party, while friends and family hung missing posters, until three days later, pieces of her dismembered body floated to the shore of a nearby lake. The case was now a homicide and it was one of the most brutal investigators had ever seen.
