In a time when performative allyship regarding race relations is at an all-time high, many self-proclaimed "allies" are letting their asses hang out. Whether it is the use of a blaccent to mock black people or the misuse of a AAVE sans knowing why it it problematic for non-black people to speak it, there has been a plethora of confusion and racist incidents popping up all over the internet.
