It was miraculous in every sense of the word yesterday at Marvel, finding ourselves 54 points down in the third quarter and not looking anything like the side that lifted the cup last year, we went on the charge and managed to escape with a famous one-point victory to add to our many comeback victories over the last two and a half years.

King’s Birthday saw us produce the perfect response to our defeat last week, with a complete four-quarter performance to defeat Melbourne by 38 points and find our way back in the top four conversation.

We resumed normal programming on Saturday at the MCG, as we held on to produce a narrow four-point triumph over Adelaide to continue our unbeaten run since Round 3, and while there’s still so much uncertainty personnel on the field, the important wins keep banking up.
