This week on Ready 2 Retro we take you back to 1999 to review the horror/comedy/action fun adventure that is THE MUMMY! Returning to R2R is the Duchess of Horror, Chelsea, and together her and Max share their love for this film including their experiences seeing it in the theaters, favorite lines and scenes and they talk about all The Mummy attractions that were at Universal Studios Hollywood during the early 2000s!

Knock it off and make youself a dang "casaDILLa" because it is the 20th Anniversary of "Napoleon Dynamite" (2004)!!! Returning to Ready 2 Retro is Jasmine! Jasmine and Max share their absolute love for this movie as they talk about their favorite scenes, lines, the cultural impact it had in 2004 and share moments about their time spent in Preston, Idaho where the movie was filmed in. 

Get your chapsticks, make some tots and don't forget you can drink whole milk if you wanted to! 

For Episode 181, Joey from @ninjatoitles joins Ready 2 Retro to talk all things C2E2 and the Chicago city extravanganza that Max and Joey went on!

Joining @ready2retro this week is first time guest and the very talented artist, musician and creator Edem Elesh. Edem, a native of Los Angeles, is also an internationally known, collected and respected Fine Artist. He has participated in innumerable shows and residencies domestically and overseas. 

His art encompasses mixed media painting, sculpture, installation, drawing and music composition. Edem's music (seen as an integral part of his artistic expression, giving sound to vision if you will) has made it’s way into several features including Eric Minh Swenson’s Episode 2 of “Stoked” where his release “Selah” (under the moniker KinderCrowdControl®) was featured in it’s entirety. Edem also worked as an artist for the world renowned film director and producer Roger Corman.

Episode 179 is all about Max's trip to C2E2 in beautiful Chicago, Illinois! Joining in this episode is Tim Oliphant from TMNT+ who roomed with Max all C2E2 weekend long. Together, they share about their highlights and experiences including meeting new friends, checking out what C2E2 had to over, sitting in on a Power Rangers panel, and Max got to meet his childhood crush, Amy Jo Johnson!

Ready 2 Retro has reviewed every TMNT movie upto date, except for two. The Michael Bay movies. To give a 10 year retrospect on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) joining us is of course Joey from @ninjatoitles and our #podcastcousin @tessllanos!
