Dr. Gloria Thomas Anderson is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at North Carolina State University and the author of a CDC-recommended advance care planning resource entitled, “The African-American Spiritual and Ethical Guide to End-of-Life Care: What Y’all Gon’ Do With Me?” She is the founder of Heart Tones™, an encouragement ministry that creates custom inspirational gifts and bereavement resources for caregivers. Dr. Anderson works primarily with African-American faith communities on end-of-life planning and education. She is also a member of the Interfaith and Diversity workgroup at C-TAC.
