Heather Grzych on Religion and Fertility Today Wisdom of the Body

    • Alternative Health

Wellness expert Heather Grzych asks whether religion is helping or hindering fertility and reproduction today, considering that a large percentage of children today are actually born to unwed mothers. Religion and science can both shape one’s approach to their wellness, medical and even fertility journeys, including when it’s okay to have sex and who we can have sex with. While many aspects of religion may be beneficial, are they also limiting modern people? Do we still have to follow the rules of religion or our family culture and get married to have kids today? How can people build rituals for the rite of passage into becoming a parent outside of religion?
