IWO 109: Finale‪?‬ It’ll Wash Out: A BLEACH Rewatch Podcast

    • Comedy

Thanks to everyone who has been listening throughout the years. Words cannot express how grateful I am that our little show made its way to y'all, and hopefully made your days a little better. It's a bittersweet feeling, ending things here. On one hand - you never know - we may return to Bleach at some point, but I feel at this point we've basically said all that we need to say. We set out to make this show with one question in mind, "Does Bleach hold up?" and to be honest with you, I still don't know that I have an actual answer for that. I think personally speaking, I don't know that I'm the person to make that judgment call. Bleach was a series that hit me hard when I was a teenager, and that was its general audience, so perhaps it was a success in what it was trying to do, even if coming back to it I can see all the cracks form over time until the structure breaks. It's a flawed, interesting thing to behold at times; it's also painful to get through at other times. Point being, I feel like choosing to disengage with Bleach in the form of a podcast is probably a healthy decision for all three of us - We've already become better friends since the time of this recording, just spending time together when we would normally be doing the show. This is quite possibly, the final episode of It'll Wash Out. But, it is not the end of our journey working together - We have some ideas for what we want to do next already, some of which really excite us. We hope you'll all be there when we're ready to get back in the saddle and create something new. I know we're all looking forward to it. See you there, thank you so much for listening, and if you're reading this - I love you. I hope you all have wonderful days ahead. Stay Cool, Chads. Keep up to date with our next project by following @BleachcastFollow Us:Sam: @ssbSLJQuinn: @MonkipiQuinnVerse: floralespers.tumblr.comAnd as always, major shoutouts to our former cohost and my bestie for several years, Lote. Thanks for creating such wonderful cover art for the show, this show would not exist today if not for you.
