Deep Cuts: Wes Craven's Deadly Blessing (1981)

Before Wes Craven gave the world Freddy Krueger, he bestowed upon us Deadly Blessing (1981), a supernatural slasher so wild it'll scare the beards off your evil Amish neighbors. Join your hosts Kim & Jon as they close out their double-feature of Horror Master Deep Cuts with Wes Craven's wild & Weird Deadly Blessing. Is it a masked killer movie, a demonic possession flick, or a goofy girl-power thriller about farm life? Your guess is as good as ours! Join usssss…

Deep Cuts: Eyes of Laura Mars (1978)

Don't you just hate it when you're going about your day and suddenly, you're plagued by visions of murder and death. Ughh, what a hassle! Join your horror hosts Kim & Jon as they dig into some deep cuts from a few of your favorite Masters of Horror. On this week's episode of Nightmare on Film Street, we're shifting our focus and zooming in for a closer look at the late 70s American Giallo Eyes of Laura Mars. This gritty and provocative murder mystery may be directed by Irvin Kershner but it was also written by none other than Joh Carpenter. It's a fun, funny conversation about the fear in Faye Dunaway's eyes, the confused motivations of a maniac killer...and about how damn cool Brad Dourif looks in bellbottom jeans! Join ussss....

Undead Boys, Make Some Noize Part II: Spawn (1997)

Undead Boys, Make Some Noize Part II: Spawn (1997)

To hell with superheroes...literally! Join your horror hosts Kim & Jon as they close out their Emo/Undead Boys double-feature with the most ambitious comic book adaptation of the 1990's: Spawn. Sure, Spawn might have some very outdated special effects and a script that makes Morbius look like Mulholland Drive but it's also loaded with demon creatures, hilarious one-liners, and a dude back from the grave on a revenge mission! Oh, and did we mention that John Leguizamo plays a 4-foot evil clown that eats a slice of pizza with real maggots crawling all over it!?!?Join ussss....

I know what undead boys like, I know what resurrected guys wantttt. They want revenge! Join your horror hosts Kim & Jon as they dig into 1994's tragic cult-classic The Crow, in a 2-part episode handpicked by the members of the Patreon Fiend Club. Friday The 13th Part V: A New Beginning (Midnight At Camp Blood)

Friday The 13th Part V: A New Beginning (Midnight At Camp Blood)

If Jason still haunts you...you're not alone. Our big unstoppable hunk is dead and buried but (bad news!) there's a new masked madman on the scene, and here's not about to let this new crop of kids go unmurdered.
Let's face it, Friday The 13th Part V: A New Beginning is the black sheep of the franchise. It may boast one of the highest body counts, and some of the most graphic deaths (sadly, all butchered by the MPAA) but it just doesn't have Jason. That doesn't mean you should cast this divisive, experimental entry aside, however. There's still plenty to love about A New Beginning, including a boatload of goofy characters and a dude who gets his head squished like a watermelon 😧
