The focus of this prophetic word through Zechariah, although it gives the perspective of Jerusalem and the activity of the people of Jerusalem, reveals its culmination in the statement that God is One!

Jesus, as the eternal God, reminds us that He will deliver His people. However, this will happen after some very difficult circumstances that include loss of dignity, possessions and community.
