Julie Luker PhD student at the University of South Australia and clinician in acute stroke and physiotherapy had her abstract voted as most controversial at this year’s stroke society Australasia. My name is Carmen Lahiff-Jenkins and I am the Managing Editor of the International Journal of Stroke I was able to grab Julie after her presentation and chat about her interesting study.

Stephanie Ho and Brenda Booth
Stephanie Ho and Brenda Booth are both inspirational stroke survivors. This year at Stroke Society Australasia and Smartstrokes Stephanie was invited to as a keynote speaker. Her speech had a wonderful effect on the professional audience. Carmen Lahiff-Jenkins from the International Journal of Stroke was lucky enough to engage both women in a discussion about about post stroke survival.
