Summary: In this episode, UAlbany students Dylan Fumarola, Asia Harris, and Arely Gonzalez discuss how Barbie, a movie that communicates the effects of patriarchy and feminism, reinforced their views on
society. Dylan discusses his view on how the standards in society affect people and how he stays true to his authentic self. They discuss topics such as, the violence and standards associated with the patriarchy, what feminism is to
them, and how to recognize misogyny. They also reference how to navigate the world while combatting the patriarchy. This discussion incorporates both the male
and female perspective on the patriarchy and how it affects both sexes, respectively.
