Should we have a pigeon cull?
Limburg an der Lahn in the western German state of Hesse has just voted to exterminate its population of 700 pigeons.
Residents have voted to employ a falconer to trap the pigeons, bash them over the head and snap their necks in a major cull. Animal rights campaigners were outraged by the announcement.
