CHRIST wants us to be Peacemakers not warmongers. If we truly believe in him and call ourselves Christians then WE MUST BE PEACEMAKERS. No exceptions, no question about it. There is a process to achieve Christ like qualities but we can't use "we are not perfect" as an excuse to get around what he truly wants us to be. 

On this Podcast we go over the 6th Beatitude, Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

If we want mercy, which at some point in our lives we beg for it, then we must show it to other in order to receive it. After all God shows us the ultimate Mercy.
