Episode 314
This past week, haunters from all over the country descended into the City of Brotherly Love to attend the inaugural East Coast Haunters Convention. The numbers were most impressive and exceeded almost everyone’s expectations. Badger was only there for one day, but managed to bring back a full show’s worth of interviews. We talk to some old friends and some new people who've never been on our show. If you missed the event, stop kicking yourself, tune in to the Big Scary Show Episode 314, and you’ll feel like you were there. And be sure to make your plans to be in Philadelphia for ECHC 2025 returning next April.
Storm is ranting about the popularity of 12-foot skeletons in a Haunt Minute. Meathook Jim talks about blood money in Between the Corpses. Badger reads the latest in Deadline news. The Old Crone discusses why it’s time to set up your schedules. We might have a Gruesome Giveaway for the month of May. Dick Terhune is back with his Marketing Morgue. Vysther returns with a segment called ‘View From the Bar’ as he celebrates 10 years of being on the Big Scary Show. And finally, we’re spinning some rockin’ tunes as we mark the halfway point to Halloween.
The Roundtable of Terror talks about a vital part of many haunted attractions; the hayride. We invite Randy Bates from the Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride, Jim Schopf from Field of Screams, and Kyle McMann from Frightland to have a seat and talk about how their hayrides have grown and evolved over the years. Does your haunt have a hayride? Are you thinking of adding one? You don’t want to miss this fascinating and informative conversation from some of the heavy hitters in the industry. All this, and so much more.
We hid the body, but you’ll become an accomplice just by listening to........the BIG SCARY SHOW. (And a big “Thank you” to Jen, Rich, and the rest of the Transworld staff for making the East Coast Haunters Convention a spooky success).)
Featured music: Black Cat Attack - Sunday Sacrifice Gladezmen - Big ‘ol Monster Murderland - 13 Jack ‘O Lanterns Vegas Rhythm Kings - Crazy Cadavers
