In his mid 40s and from a distance, he looked reasonably successful. But inside, he felt like he was driving around with the parking brake on. This describes most people listening to this episode now. He felt like he was underperforming at life, knowing it shouldn't be this hard. Something had to change, and something did change, he found his breath. This sent him down a journey to healing himself. If you ask him he'll tell you he's still healing, but that's the joy of the journey.
After being on this path for years, something else happened… Jake had a vision of sixty people doing breath work together, and Breath.Energy was born. Breath.Energy was open for 3-4 months, and every week more and more people were coming. Fast forward some years and they're still walking humanity through the deep work of healing through breath. Jake says, "During breathwork we have encouraged our community to express the deepest most unseen parts of who they are. To say this work has been rewarding is an understatement. I am eternally grateful for the space we hold which allows people to feel, release, and find the joy in their lives. Through breathwork I have found my motto of life. Love is ALWAYS the answer."
