Considered as a true crime masterpiece, the film provides a view of the San Francisco Bay area in the late 1960's as it is haunted by the real life Zodiac serial killer, who was never caught.

    RONNIE S. RISKALLA - Writer / Director

    Writer and Director Ronnie S. Riskalla joins us on this episode to talk about his evolving filmmaking career and his critically acclaimed 2023 feature film release "Streets of Colour". Growing up in Western Sydney, Ronnie is an award-winning and AACTA and SPA nominated Screenwriter/ Director. He has worked in the cinema industry for over 20 years as a Projectionist & Technical Manager, overseeing the 35mm projectors move into the digital cinema era. After attending The Hollywood Film School Ronnie produced & directed his experimental feature film: The Day Hollywood Died which was the official selection at (ECU) The European Film Festival in France. In 2011 his production company Rising Pictures acquired the distribution rights for ANZ for feature film Mooz-Lum, a film starring Danny Glover and Nia long. Ronnie's 2nd feature film ‘Streets of Colour’, an urban coming-of-age drama shot in Western Sydney which tackles racism and cultural identity. The film recently finished it’s theatrical release across Australia/NZ and is now available on all major digital platforms and is releasing in the USA in October 2024 on a variety of platforms. Streets of Colour was nominated for The Australian Academy Awards (AACTA) for BEST INDIE FILM and was nominated for BEST FILM PRODUCTION at the Screen Producer’s Association Awards (SPA). Through his production company SkyCross Entertainment, Ronnie is currently developing his next project, a psychological thriller feature film. Ronnie recently finished working on prolific film Diretcor Kriv Stender’s new feature film - The Correspondent as the Director’s Attachment which will be released on Boxing Day 2024.
