The passage is 2 Chronicles 34:1-19 and chronicles the steps that King Josiah took during his reign to destroy the false prophets and idols and the alters to these idols in order to walk in the ways of his father David. These steps when applied to our lives as believers will help us to make God the focus of our lives, which is His rightful place. Anytime we have something more important to us than God, or something that gets in the way of the worship, time and love we have for God it is an idol. We must repent and turn to Christ Jesus.
