An attitude of gratitude..‪.‬ Peacefully Happy - My journey to find my zenful essence.

It is easy to tell someone to have an "attitude of gratitude". How many of us actually put into practice every day, that "attitude of gratitude"?

I didn't realize that I was starting to practice gratitude 10 years ago and then stopped. Gratitude has definitely been something that has to be actively worked on. So my attitude of gratitude ended up becoming a bit...um...snarky. It wasn't until 3 years ago that I really made gratitude my primary practice every day. When I don't find at least 3 things to be grateful for, I really feel the change in me. There really is a ton we can be grateful for every single day.

Gratitude helps maintain peace inside of me. When there is peace, I am calm. When I am calm, I am able to be more aware, more present, more focused and life is just...well...better!

I would love to know! Do you have a gratitude practice? Please feel free to share what you do to help yourself get through those moments of "Oh Em Gee" that happen in life and how you get yourself back to internal calm.
