    E13: Prof. H.C. Verma - Education

In this episode, the hosts of Inquisitio are joined by H.C. Verma, experimental nuclear physicist and professor emeritus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.  Prof. H.C. Verma is a leading figure in outreach, especially in physics. He has created several hundred low-cost physicist experiments and has made several efforts on releasing courses online for students as well. In 2011, he set up the National Anveshika Network of India (NANI), a flagship programme of the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), of which he is the national co-ordinator. For his contributions to outreach in India, he has been awarded the Padma Shree, one of the highest civilian honours, in 2020. He is well known for his work in work in authoring and publishing textbooks, the most popular being his volumes of "Concepts of Physics".  To find more about Prof. H.C.
