Marion Molina is a student from the Ateneo de Manila University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Disaster Risk and Resilience. Before this, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and worked as a research assistant in the University of the Philippines Marine Science Institute studying antibiotic resistance along river basins.
He joins us on the show to shed some light on the topic of disaster risk management and its implementation in the Philippines. Marion also delves deeper into some of the environmental issues that plague the country such as waste management and climate change. However, he also acknowledges that the current situation has made it increasingly difficult for Filipinos to focus on the environment. Hear him out.
