Speaking up, speaking out, using our voice is not always easy or comfortable. Yet the time is now for Shenomenal Women everywhere to be heard!

When you hear the word Goddess does the image of a beautiful woman dressed in a flowing white gossamer gown trimmed in gold pop into your head? Is she wearing a circlet, a crown, perhaps holding a cup or scepter? Maybe your image of a Goddess is the warrior woman in armor sitting on her white steed prepared to ride out and battle the dark forces.

This is the Goddess, for she is all of that and so very much more.

What if for a moment we thought of the Goddess as a state of mind, a state of being? That the Goddess is steeped in the myths of ancient times and has been constantly evolving even while there are those who would silence the Goddess in you, in me?

This episode was inspired by the book, "If Women Rose Rooted', by Dr. Sharon Blackie and what she refers to as the Eco-Heroine's Journey. Not an adaptation of Joseph Campbell's popular, 'The Hero's Journey, the Heroine's Journey is about reconnecting to our feminine energy. It's about walking our way back into BEING, being fully a women. It's about taking our rightful place in the circle, at the table, and actively participating in creating a 'new' world.

Women possess unique potential contributions to share with all willing to listen, that will help to create a more honest, a more compassionate world paradigm. This is what the world is calling forth. This is embracing the rise of the sacred feminine energy. It's not about women taking over the world, it is about evolving into a world of collaboration versus competition.
