Brunei Film Blitz is Brunei's first ever Film Festival. Established in December 2017, the Blitz started with establishing a community of local filmmakers that shares film experiences, techniques and eventually produce their own short films.
Due to popular demand, The Brunei Film Blitz returned in 2018 with a bigger goal - to introduce the Bruneian audience to World Cinema. In its second instalments, the International Screenings garnered interests of over 1000 audiences watching films from eight countries.
In 2020, we aim to further foster the vision of creating Brunei's National Film Identity and pioneer a new wave of Brunei cinema through education, training and exposure to a wider variety of independent cinema.
