Jonah disobeyed the Lord due to his attitude towards others. Similarly, our own disobedience to the Lord can lead to various consequences. This Sunday, we will discuss the outcomes of disobedience and the blessings that come from obedience. Embracing the blessings of obedience can help us stay on the right path and avoid going overboard.

We’ve navigated several messages involving boat stories of the Bible. So far, every story involved a safe arrival with the boat intact. This time, the boat gets destroyed. Still, everyone arrived where they needed to be. Sometimes a Shipwreck is the only way to get where God wants you to go.

Outside the window you see Jesus standing there, beckoning for you to come and speak with Him. What would your reaction be? Would you take a moment to get your things in order? Would you run out the door eager to speak to Him? Would you even realize it was Him?
