Recently, the matter on George Floyd has swept the country with a mixture of emotions and actions. For Christians, who have felt a call to action, this matter could come as a challenge. Matters like this are dangerous to indulge in, but could be a good fight to fight, if you knew what God wanted you to do. These chapters give an insight as to what God wants us to keep in mind as we seek a glorious outcome for our nation.

[Bible] Hebrews 10:19-39 | A Call to Persevere in Faith
A verse in this reading stuck out to me this morning: “let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful” (Heb 10:23). To me, it parallels the question- why pray when you don’t want to hear the answer? Why hope when I don’t trust that what it is that I’m hoping for will happen? This verse meant to me to have faith when I hope, not just to hope as a way of staying positive. Love and blessings ❤️
