...and we are back after a looong summer break (a sabbatical some would say?) with episode number 7. This episode is a little different as it focuses on creativity, in the context of 'here and there' of course. It's a topic we haven't discussed much before and we were so happy to explore it with our guest. We are talking to Naina who originally comes from India but has lived here and there and everywhere. In our special holiday episode we're talking to 2 sisters, Sami and Sasha, who also happen to be best friends living on 2 different continents. Sami moved to Scotland from Chicago in her early twenties and Sasha, while still in the US, left Chicago for Portland, Oregon. Their stories were really helpful in exploring the different struggles we experience around religious and national identities but mostly, personal challenges around relationships near and far. Today we are talking to Safir. She explains to us what it means to her to come from a relatively small island which is divided into 2 islands while living on one big island in Scotland. In this episode, we're talking to Janek who left his beloved Walachia in Czechia for New York City, or rather for the love he found there.
