Martin Smith is a Site Reliability Engineer for HashiCorp, a remote-first company that solves development, operations, and security challenges in Cloud infrastructure. Martin previously worked in software engineering at Rackspace and the University of Florida. In 2016, with his remote job at Rackspace, Martin spent a year traveling the world with Remote Year.

Maya Yette is a recovering lawyer turned operations and strategy professional. She grew up in a suburb of Washington DC, studied communications and journalism, and has a law degree from Harvard University. After working at a DC corporate law firm, she traveled with Remote Year and worked at Travel Noire. Now based back in DC, she works at Choice Hotels.

Jono Lee is a product designer and engineer who enjoys building products people love. Jono has been working with computers since he was a teenager, founded 2 startups after college, was a product designer at Disqus, and has started another company, Wanderium, a smart all-in-one travel assistant.

Tarryn Marcus is the Director of Demand Generation for an XR technology startup by day and CEO of her own sales technology startup by night. She’s been interested in business, marketing, and entrepreneurship since high school, and she’s worked remotely for most of her career.
