Happy New Year everyone and welcome back to the Of Geeks and Goddesses podcast!
We start our episode off by mentioning our brand new mic that we got for the holidays, courtesy of Michael, and as well as shouting out Michelle for donating to the podcast! We kicked off our new year by watching the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary Return to Hogwarts special on HBO Max! It was so nice to see so many familiar faces back on the screen, talking about their experience with the Wizarding world! We jump right into a nostalgia trip and talk about how much of an HP fan we were back in the day! From the books, movies, video games, shirts, magazines, AND theme parks, Harry Potter was everything!
After that we talk about it's impact online and how Tumblr served as a huge foundation to connect to wizards and witches all around the world and hyping each other up for the end of Harry Potter with Deathly Hallows Part 2!
We then talk theme parks with the additions to the Wizarding World in Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida, and how throughout the years it keeps expanding!
We also briefly talk about our personal thoughts of what J.K Rowling (creator of HP) has recently said about Trans people on her Twitter page over the past year. After that we also chat about Pottermore, our experience with the website, how we got early access and the journey getting there!

Hang on tight for a nostalgia trip back to when Harry Potter reigned supreme and ask ourselves "Where is Harry Potter now?"

Welcome back to the Of Geeks and Goddesses podcast! Been some time since the last episode and this one BUT not to worry, we're back with a brand new episode! We kick off the episode with where have we been, why the hiatus took longer than we wanted to AND our plan to come back stronger and better than ever!
We then briefly talk about our good friend Richie aka Gacha Talks, that unfortunately passed away due to COVID earlier in September. He always encouraged his friends to continue with their passions, no matter how big or how small. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
We then go to talking about concerts coming back in full swing, what show's we've seen and what liked and didn't like about them!
From that we go to talking about Halloween Horror Nights, the premier halloween event for Florida Residents! 30 years, 30 fears was the theme this year and we had the privilege to be able to go to HHN and do 7 out of the 10 houses that they presented this year!
After that we talk about some movies, video games and anime that we're excited for to come out for the month of October!
