On the 29th night of Taraweeh Reflections, the Sheik talks about the relevance of the first nine(9) verses of Surah At-Takwir in today's world where we constantly hear that Islam being the source of oppressing of women. He emphasizes that in the Surah, Allah(swt) clearly has raised the the level of women, especially during a time when Mecca was being very tough on the Prophet Muhammad(Saw).



The speaker highlights that Islam provides due rights to women, and raises their status in society, and calls for justice to be defined by the creator of the heavens and the earth. The verses clearly emphasize that women and men should both follow the laws defined by Allah(swt), in order to truly provide justice to both men and women. The speaker touches on current issues such as abortion and sexual harassment faced by women in various countries, and suggests that only the commands of Allah(swt) can bring true justice to all humans, regardless of gender or religion.

On the 28th night of Taraweeh Reflections, the Sheikh discusses the significance of Surah 'Abasa, which was revealed in Mecca during the Makkan era. The verses addressed (Surah 'Abasa - 1-16) an incident where Prophet Muhammad (saw) frowned and turned away from a blind man, Abdullah bin Umm Maktum, who had approached him seeking guidance on Islam.



The Sheikh emphasizes that while the Prophet was not reprimanded for preaching to the leaders of the Quraysh, he was reminded to pay attention to those genuinely seeking knowledge and guidance. He further explains that the Surah serves as a reminder that honor and piety are in the eyes of Allah, and that people should be treated with respect regardless of their wealth, knowledge, or abilities.



The Sheikh also notes that during the early years of Islam, the Prophet often approached people with authority in an attempt to spread the message more easily. He highlights that there is no compulsion in Islam and that individuals have the choice to accept or reject the Deen of Islam.



The Sheikh concludes his reflection by praying for the listeners to gain a deeper understanding of the Quran and to make the most of Ramadan, seeking forgiveness and guidance from Allah(swt).

On the 27th night of Taraweeh Reflections, the Sheik discusses the importance of saving oneself and one's family from the Hellfire, as commanded by Allah (swt) in Surah At-Tahrim Verse 6. The Sheik emphasizes that fulfilling this responsibility goes beyond providing basic needs such as food, shelter, and clothing; it also includes teaching family members about Allah's obligations and prohibitions, as well as enjoining good and forbidding evil.



The Sheik highlights the challenges faced in today's society, where the commands of Allah (swt) are not widely implemented, making it more difficult for believers to save themselves and their families from the Hellfire.  However, the Sheik reminds listeners that this responsibility remains doable, and believers must strive to fulfill it by following Allah's commands and guiding their families on the right path.



Additionally, the Sheik also highlights the potential roles of family members, specifically wives and children, who can either be a hindrance to one's obedience to Allah or a source of support in following His commands. In a society that may not encourage following Allah's commands, the Sheik emphasizes the importance of staying vigilant and not becoming hopeless or despaired. They stress the need for individuals and families to engage in shaping society to make it easier for them to obey Allah and protect themselves from the fire.



As we continue to seek Laylat-ul-Qadr(The Night of Power) this Ramadan, let’s seek forgiveness from Allah(swt) and the hope to save not only themselves and their families but also the rest of humankind from the severe punishment.

On the 26th night of Taraweeh Reflections during Ramadan, a profound discussion takes place, delving into the purpose of life and our connection with the Creator. Drawing from the Quran, specifically Adh Dhariyaat verses 56-58, the speaker highlights the importance of understanding our purpose in life, which is to worship Allah (swt) alone. This purpose guides our actions, helping us distinguish between right and wrong, and ultimately leading to tranquility and peace in our lives. On the 25th night of Taraweeh Reflections, the Sheikh discusses the importance of the Quran, especially during the month of Ramadan. He emphasizes the significance of reciting and listening to the Quran during this blessed month and how our deeds of worship during Ramadan can help us gain forgiveness and blessings.



Overall, the Sheikh reminds us of the importance of the Quran and how it is a proof for or against us, as mentioned in the Quran itself.

On the 24th  night of Taraweeh Reflections during Ramadan, the Sheik delves into the thought-provoking verses 33-36 from Surah Fussilat/Ha Meem, emphasizing the importance of calling people towards Allah(swt) and living according to His (swt)commands.



The verses highlight the need to practice what one preaches and avoid hypocrisy. The verses explain how the believers should act with goodness and patience, even in the face of adversity. In this modern era, where the relevance of the Quran is often questioned, these verses remind us that every aspect of the holy text is important and applicable to our lives.



The speaker also delves into the meaning of patience and perseverance in the face of evil or harm, stressing that this does not mean allowing oneself to be mistreated. Instead, it involves continuing to follow Allah's commands and responding to wrongdoing with goodness as defined by Allah.



This approach is not easy, but it is the path to greatness and success in the hereafter.
