A God Of Second Chances - Genesis 37-49
Most people know this portion of scripture is about the life of Joseph. Although we can learn much from his life and devotion to God, there is also much we can gain from the story of Judah tucked away in those same scriptures. Judah started out as a man who was lost in worldly desires but eventually had his life turned around into a perfect picture of God's wonderful redemption.

Living A Godly Life In A Hostile World - John 17:6-20
This passage from John's Gospel comes from the prayer Jesus prayed for His disciples on the last evening before His arrest. It's a prayer not only for those early disciples but for all those who would become followers of Jesus in the future!

Never Give Up On God - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Paul encourages us in these verses to implement three practices, which will revolutionize our life and keep us focused on the God who is forever faithful. Rejoice always, pray continually and give thanks in all things, for this is God's will for you.

Love's Resolve - 2 John 1
Three themes that are weaved together in John's letter are truth, love and obedience. By believing the truth in Christ and in the Word we are saved. The evidence of our salvation is love and the evidence of love is obedience. Love and obedience are strengthened as we grow in our knowledge of truth. The more we love Jesus who is truth, the more we will love others.

When Little Is Much - John 6:1-11
This passage reminds us, in our seemingly impossible situations, to not focus on what we lack but to look at Who we have. Jesus is in our midst, just as He was in the midst of His disciples and the five thousand hungry men plus many more. He took the little amount of food they had, blessed and multiplied it, all were fed and satisfied, not to mention there were plenty of leftovers. Little is much with God, believe it!

Remaining Fresh, Flexible And Functional - Matthew 4:18-25
Jesus calls us to a life of purpose...a life of accomplishment and fulfillment. A life where we become and remain, for His sake and for His cause. He desires that we live a life of meaning with a sense of mission.
