Recent dharma talks from Lama Dawa. Lama Dawa was born in 1969 in Tsum. His father was Dundrup Chima and mother named Yongzom.He had a strong desire to become a monk from an early age. At the age of 13, he entered Thrangu Tashi Choling Monastery and learned all Buddhist rituals. During that time, he received full ordination (gelong) from Thrangu Rinpoche. In 1986, he joined the Namo Buddha Monastic College and completed the five-year program and the Ngondro practice. Upon completing shedra studies, he spent three years as a monastery manager of Thrangu Tashi Choling, and also in charge of the early stage of construction at Vajra Vidya Institute in Sarnath. Subsequently, he was invited to Hong Kong Thrangu Center as the Managing Director and Tutor, and is responsible for the centre of all administrative matters.
