Act II picks up soon after Anne and Diana's disastrous tea, and follows Anne as she tries to become a responsible adult while navigating school studies, rash decisions, college, old rivalries, new friendships, homesickness, and, most of all, tragedy that strikes at the very heart of Green Gables.
